Zero Prototype Series
These are extremely rare prototypes created during the development process of the Zero series. Only about 2 to 4 units of each exist. We highly recommend these to collectors who love the Zero series and want to own a piece of its development history.
The ZERO 57mm comes in two prototype variations:
1st Prototype: Features a round shape closer to the original YWET. It has a weight distribution pushed more towards the rim, characterized by powerful spin than 2nd prototype and production version.
2nd Prototype: Features a round shape closer to the One Drop version of the YWET.
I Series Prototypes
Prototypes born from the I series development process. These are also very rare, with only about 4 units of each. They are perfect for those who love the feel of the Anti-yo BSP or flat rims. Compared to the production version, the weight distribution is pushed more towards the outer rim, emphasizing a powerful, flat-rim feel. Notably, the TITANIUM model features an "All Raw" finish—a specification not available in the production version.
Snow Coating Prototype Samples
Among At Design Lab's specialized coatings, the "Snow Coating" is the most beautiful and has a dedicated core fan base. Due to manufacturing challenges, it was unavailable for a long time. However, looking ahead to a revival in 2025, we worked with various factories in Japan to conduct trial productions. These items are the coating samples created during that process. From weight variations to multi-material tests, almost all are one-of-a-kind items. We hope you enjoy owning a piece of the trial-and-error journey toward this coating's resurrection.
BRICC Coating and Color Samples
The collaboration with A-rt was a big surprise in 2025. Behind the scenes of that release, we were simultaneously exploring BRICC color combinations and conducting trial manufacturing of various At Design Lab coatings. Ahead of next year's official release, we are specially releasing the samples born from this development process. Most of these are one-of-a-kind items.
LAB DESIGN ARCHIVE
This is a "Mystery Box" packed with the history of At Design Lab's research and development. There is a possibility to contains not only pure prototypes but also test samples or deadstock items with anodization errors. Each box includes an assortment of multiple yo-yos and bearings. Since some items may have been used for testing during development, they may contain scratches or signs of use. We hope you appreciate these imperfections as "traces of development" and enjoy them as part of the Lab's archive.
