For designing MoNo 54mm, we used a 3D printer and mowl MRL yo-yo parts to create a prototype in order to verify the design of shape and edge. Although the weight distribution of alminium mono metal yoyo cannot be reproduced, it is ideal for trying out shape and edge designs like this one. We were able to fully confirm that it is good contollability and minimnum spining loss thanks to edges design. However, tiny vibration couldn't solve even in asemble many times because of Foold's gold printing on a whim.

We start design from this side shape design, and finally the MoNo design was completed. This model was output with a 3D printer to check the overall shape before cutting out the aluminum. The shape of the rim overhanging greatly is impressive.

This is first prototype made by aluminum. Smooth Ultimatte Coating is not applied this prototype to evaluate the design only. The concept was realized that stable spining, even though it could be moved as intended and as desired. On the other hand, it was also peaky yo-yo that far exceeded the desired usability. In fact, it can be said that this first prototype has the highest performance in MoNo yoyo. Then Smooth Ultimatte Coating development and fine adjustments began to make it soft and comfortable feeling.

Second prototype is the first model with Smooth Ultimatte Coating, which is 0.5g lighter than the first prototype. It is in both silver colors. Smooth Ultimatte Coating is a special matte coating like Anti-yo Eetsit and Babezilla 2. This has succeeded in producing a soft feeling while maintaining the high basic performance of yo-yo. The yo-yo in the photo has been used for about 3-4 months, but by using it, the coating becomes familiar and it has changed to a very comfortable touch. we satisfied with good combination of design and coating, we decide to move to production phase.

Lastly, we have been developing MoNo for over half a year. When I play the CLYW peak and YoYoJam Hitman after work, it reminded me that MoNo is absolutely no match for these masterpiece. If you like MoNo, please look for these yoyo and play it. It's no wonder that some people don't know, let alone haven't played a historic masterpiece for about more than 25 years since the earliest yo-yo boom. However, these are masterpieces that must not be forgotten, and are yo-yos that every player should remember forever. We hope that by developing a new yo-yo using the essence of a masterpiece from the past, it will be an opportunity for everyone to remember that time and to know the existence of that masterpiece.
