At Design Lab is a designers' yoyo brand from Tokyo.
We make yoyos, inspired by this city.
Tokyo never stays still.
What stood here a year ago is already gone.
Countless people cross a great intersection, and that flow itself gives rise to whatever comes next.

Maybe the history of the yoyo is the same.
The old. The newly made.
They keep passing one another, and sometimes they cross.
New value, new ways of seeing things — they seem to be born only at that crossing.

Some yoyo shapes invented in the past are still being played today, decades on.
We choose those shapes.
And we rebuild them through the interpretation of our own time.
So perhaps our yoyos can't quite be captured by words like 'Spins well' or 'Good controllability.'
Instead, a few questions remain.
What is this, about?
What context did it come from ?
What does it mean to own one ?
